Nonesuch Books & Cards is located in the Saco Valley Shopping Center, on Scammon Street in Saco, Maine. Nonesuch Books is an independent Maine owned and operated bookstore, run with the invaluable help of an experienced and talented staff. Our goal is to make a positive difference in what you select to read and make your shopping experience unique, enlightening, and fun.

Our store has been operating in the Saco Valley Shopping Center for over 15 years, and offers a wide selection of general books with a concentration in adult fiction and children's books. Our store is stocked with hand picked titles and we have scores of recommendations from our staff. Our magazine department hosts over 1,500 titles throughout the year. Nonesuch buys and sells used paperbacks and stocks hundreds of excellent remaindered and discounted books.

We also carry a full section of Hallmark greeting cards, thousands of gifts, journals, stationery, and book accessories. Our store features many products made in Maine, and we are very supportive of Maine authors and publishers.

We offer many great savings programs for teachers, kids, and seniors. Our popular Nonesuch Saver frequent-buyer program is free for all customers.
